Esurance

What do you think of ESURANCE?

I got a good quote at Esurance and am planning to buy coverage from the company. The only concern is that the price difference between Esurance and all other companies such as Progressive, Geico, and StateFarm is big. I mean, Esurance charges way less than those. Why is that? Is Esurance a reliable company?
Hope to hear from somebody who had an actual experience with the company.

Esurance is an established company. There are many online-only companies who give better quotes because they don't waste money setting up offices. I've had esurance for two years in a row earlier, never had an issue with them.

I haven't had any insurance with Esurance. My only problem with going to some of these companies is that they offer low rates, but tend to not want to pay out when you do, unfortunately, have an accident. Sort of like paying for health insurance then needing a kidney transplant and your insurance company saying it's not covered.

Do I pay more at say State Farm than at Esurance? Yes. But I also pay for stability and at least some peace of mind that State Farm is a solid company and I like the fact that I know where my Agent's office is and can speak to her in person if I need to.

What do I think of them? Not much. All they have going for them is low price, and halfway decent commercials on TV.

So what to do? Go find a local independent agent and give him your information, and he will search his data base to get you the best reputable deal.
